The great news for winter 2010-2011 is Peio: the cable car with 2 cabins with 100 seats "Pejo 3000" leading from the town Tarlenta (2000 meters above sea level) up to 3000 meters above sea level in the heart of the Ortler- Cevedale. A modern and spacious facility that rises up in the Valley of the Mite, then lets you dive into a wonderful and exciting descent of 8 km to Peio Sources. The new cable car will return with a track runs even longer and of greater altitude, the legendary circuit of Val Meek, one of the most beautiful and thrilling descents of the Alps The project "Pejo 3000" provides, in addition to the new cable car and associated new tracks, the overall expansion of the entire ski area. Thanks to this important initiative, the Val di Sole reinforces the unique opportunity of being able to ski up to 3000 meters (Peio and glacier Presena), with an abundance snow guaranteed by its unique geographical position, with the highest mountains of all the Central Alps and East.
